This is exactly right. I saw a list of professions likely to be killed by AI. Can't remember the entire list but on top was translators. But I own three completely different translations of Dante's Inferno. If you understand translation, you understand there is no one to one pairing of words.

The writing, like the art, is garbage. I wish people would say this more often. No need to look for esoteric clues that ai is involved. Is it bad art? Is it bad writing? Pretty infallible guide if you have an informed eye or a trained ear.
