After writing this post and looking at the results of this mini-project I'm hopeful: Claude (and LLMs in general) are becoming the tools that give us powers to revisit our memories by doing interviews, build targeted portfolios and help us be better people! What time to be alive!

So I need to make a BIG ASK to my network: If you ever worked with me on any of the projects, and you see discrepancies (IE numbers are wrong), please let me know. I know I can trust you (but not my memory/impostor syndrome and Claude by that proxy).

Result. I used the general consulting version to update my LinkedIn profile and now I'm a bit scared. It shows a lot more business impact and it feels wrong (even if I know it's not).

Sales and Recruiter spent time arguing, and both came up with their versions: very different but relevant. Data was prepped and rendered via Hugo, puppeteer and converted to PDFs.

Third. I created two resume/profile versions: one for general consulting, and another one for the case if there would be a good FTE position (I rarely look at this market tbh, but I still hope there is one that can replace my consulting).

Then I took a break, after which I reviewed everything and verified things still made sense.

My Impostor wasn't happy, so I brought everything to real numbers and went through it with multiple fact checks. Then I called my wife to cross-check all of these entities: (real) Impostor, Sales, Agent and Recruiter Agent. More changes have been made.

I realized I had multiple "0 to Exit"s which I completely forgot.

Second. I created Sales agent and Recruiter agent to help Claude bounce ideas. Well, most of the times Sales agent was happy to exaggerate and oversell. "Billions of dollars saved on AWS", "200% Uptime improvement" and so on.

Then I asked it to build a set of interviews about each position (and b/c of consulting nature of work I have a good amount). I asked it to create INTERVIEW_<PROJECT>_01\.md with all the questions there. I took my time to answer it truthfully, and boy I was gushed by memories...

Well, I thought, maybe I should ask Claude Code to help me. And I did.

First. I exported my current profile/resume and asked Claude to OCR it and save into a TOML file.

Recently I've realized my LinkedIn profile fails miserably at exposing my Principal-level skills (IE when I discovered an opportunity to solve a business problem by spearheading infrastructure/architecture changes/improvements).

I'm terrible at recognizing my achievements and frequently forget big old things I've done (usually because of big new things I'm doing now).
