Perks of having a teenage daughter — I don’t have to do everything 100% on my own now. She helped with all the Thanksgiving set up/tear down, helped get decor from the attic, and took point in the holiday decorations. I enjoy the holidays more when I have a helper! We even have lights in the yard!

This is how we start Thanksgiving. Early morning movies. It’s nice because we basically get the theater to ourselves and we’re out early enough to cook.

You know what’s REALLY satisfying when you’re stressed? Cleaning the bathroom and descaling the shower head. Omg it has healed something in me today. I feel like there is a lesson about shedding that which does not serve us and it being okay if it took a while or isn’t a perfect process. 🤷♀️

Spaghetti dinner band fundraisers are my favorite. Simple, yummy, feeds a crowd. We did these when I was in school and there’s just something awesome about going to them as a band parent. 🥰

It is so awesome to use AI to make bespoke tools for my role. I just created a tool to convert notes from the developers into markdown and also reformat them into additional test cases. Now I can do reviews and make smaller adjustments as I’m adding my own test cases to our suite.

The moment we all prepare for in drivers ed happened to me! A little boy had a ball roll out in front of my car and he darted out to get it! Didn’t even look.

Definitely going back to Trader Village soon. It was really fun and reminded me of everything I used to love about going to the flea markets with my parents as a kid.

First purchase of the day at the Pow Wow Championships at Trader’s Village. I am pretty sure I went here as a kid, but that was well over 30 years ago. I love a good flea market though. This is incredible. We could spend days out here and never run out of things to look at.
