Do you really think people only long for fantasy status quo rather than observable better economic policies abroad and the very real higher taxation on the rich funding broader public support that existed previously in the US?

The prudent choice would be to wait for the government to implement a half measure away from privatization and collect subsidies to provide a worse version of what should be a public service.

Yup, they don’t need to adapt because they didn’t get in the industry to take care of people in the first place. If it’s not profitable they’ll just close.

If your critique was in general about atrocity it wouldn’t specify Israeli victims, which speaks to the idea of selectively critiquing the oppressed, but I do not know you and you may very well be balancing your time denouncing atrocity.

Online commentary entirely aside the US as a nation unambiguously snd materially supports (not just doesn’t denounce) atrocities from one side of the conflict so there’s far more ground that needs winning in one direction if one’s goal is peace for all.

People who seek to discuss hyperbolic bad opinions held by a vanishingly small group should reflect on whether that operates in service of excusing ongoing oppression or understanding the plight of the oppressed.

We’re only a couple weeks removed from “if libs really supported single parent families they would get divorced more”. Same energy.

Do libs know marriage is good and have decided to keep it secret from the poors or is marriage more successful when you have resources? Who’s to say?

The site becoming fully public anyway is unavoidable, unless the site fails. A more likely problem (if you’re unhappy with X) is that not enough people get access making this site untenable for good content creators. Simple as.
