we lived right behind there on Dover St, and loved that whole block...Cafe Barada and Urban Hearth are great, the organizing shop, Little Details, made our garage super tidy.

one thing to watch out for is Spindler usually closes for the summer in June/July for like 2 months!

It's been a couple years, but they used to! it's a small shop, the tempering machine was behind the counter in the right window.

Oh hey my wife used to work here! I ate so many of the little crispy hazelnut guys and the owner is very nice.

Yeah and for what it's worth I think Smugglers has the same problem. It would be #1 but there's always a line and getting a drink can take forever.

every time I see a Tommy's marg in a menu/book/article I'm blown away again that a small and fairly nondescript restaurant made such a big mark on boozing
