My government wants me legislated out of existence and wants me to have never lived at all. So I have to try and flee the damn country. And I have a fantastic support network. But fuck me sideways, I just want to have a minute to breathe. To well and truly say, "I'm going to be okay" and believe it.

Forgot to mention my boyfriend moved in eventually like a fucking angel from the heavens. I'm not religious, but he's the definition of a blessing. I love him to bits, and without him, it'd be a helluva lot worse. And now, when I'm finally stable-ish financially...

I'm not even mad I wasn't promoted. I definitely wasn't ready for it at the time. But I WAS mad that I was promised a development plan so I could be trained to BE ready and that was just a fuckin lie that never bore any fruit. So I took a pay cut and started working from home for the same company.
