I'm 6'1" and I cannot tell you the number of people that have assumed I must be 6'3" or taller, presumably because I am taller than the definitely 6' men in their lives. Their perception is completely skewed.

This really doesn't support the rather broad assertion that "there are reasons to oppose GMO crops."

The article documents problems with lack of crop rotation and excessive use of the Bt trait when it may no longer have been necessary.

Did I hallucinate a rule/norm into existence that typically if you are already given a penalty, the most you'd give on top of that is a yellow?

I'd argue that the "new atheists" never really represented atheism as a bloc. They were always contrarians that happened to latch onto atheism as their source of moral superiority.

I also think there is a lack of understanding among these folks that it is the consensus of independent lines of evidence that leads to this collective opinion. It's not like they all just got together and went with the most charismatic person in the room.
