watched the Loki IRL pilot, i have very mixed feelings on it but it's stuck with me the past few days, it really does feel like it was ripped out of the 2000s, made a tiny edit to give it a CRT effect and the old CN logo and it adds to the feel of it, thought it was fun to share

is there a SINGLE level 8 or level 10 synchro that can somehow get to a level 9 monster By Itself.
closest i've gotten is accel stardust but the line so far doesnt get a level 1 tuner in grave so it can only go into a 10, which is why level 10 is an option for doing this

Oh I 100% agree now but back when I was a dumb kid I hated the flashbacks lol I just wanted to see luffy punch someone rlly hard
But yeah flashback pacing was better because of a had to condense it to a handful of chapters which forced the pacing to be tighter imo

Been a WHILE since I read fishman but from what I remember the overall plot of it was good the pacing was just uber slow, all of early timeskip has that problem imo everything’s a slog when reading it week to week

dogshit pilot did everything i was worried about, pacing was awful, told you nothing about the characters, everything felt reference-y instead of using the time to worldbuild and ya know, tell a story
as a stand alone adaptation it is horrible and does not work, will not be watching anymore
