People yelling "end the Dept of Education" forget history. States alone gave us segregation, unequal schools, and no support for disabled kids. Federal protections exist because local control failed.

Wild how many people think the US Department of Education writes school curriculum. It does not. States and local boards handle that. The federal role is about protecting rights and tying funding to equity. That is called accountability. Big difference.

Under God" was added to the Pledge (1954) & "In God We Trust" made the motto (1956) during the Cold War to oppose communism, not by the Founders. Courts call this "ceremonial deism," but it still clashes with the First Amendment’s separation of church & state. #History #ChurchState

The Treaty of Tripoli (1797), ratified by the Senate & signed by John Adams, said:
“The gov’t of the U.S. is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion.”
Our founders built a secular gov’t to protect religious freedom.

It’s alarming how many MAGA supporters reject the checks and balances that safeguard our democracy. The presidency isn’t a dictatorship, and no one is above the law. If they want a leader without accountability, they should look to Russia, not America.

Trump’s shameless lies exploit tragedy for political gain, spreading hate and division while undermining truth. His attacks on DEI are baseless, fearmongering, proving he will weaponize anything for power. This is exactly why resistance is not optional. It’s a duty to protect democracy and truth.

Resistance isn’t just an act of defiance and it’s commitment to the freedoms that define us. When power oversteps, standing up is not optional. It’s essential.

To stop Trump’s unconstitutional overreach, we must mobilize and push back. Share real stories, counter misinformation, protest, and pressure lawmakers. Winning in 2026 & 2028 is key + expands voter turnout, fights suppression, and stays engaged. History shows resistance defeats authoritarianism!

Republicans want to tell you what books you can read, what bathroom you can use, what words you can say, what history you can learn, what you can or can’t do with your own body and what gender you are… but tell me more about how the Dems are “coming for your freedoms”.

Idiots.

Constitution doesn’t say "separation of church and state," but Thomas Jefferson coined the phrase in 1802, explaining the First Amendment’s intent to prevent government-imposed religion. Public schools must respect diverse beliefs; those seeking religious teachings should choose faith-based schools.

Why do MAGA supporters fight so hard to oppress us? No matter their efforts, we will stand strong and prevail.

Why do issues like reproductive rights anger them so much when they have no direct impact on their own lives? If they don’t believe in abortion, they have the choice not to have one. But why impose their beliefs on others and dictate what choices someone else can make about their own body and life?

Reproductive rights shouldn’t depend on your zip code they need national protection. Like the Civil Rights Act of 1964 addressed unequal state laws, we must ensure equal access to reproductive healthcare. Fundamental rights should be protected for everyone, everywhere.
