Didn't finish the stone I had planned today. Made the call to wait on a mold to arrive so I could have a very specific texture/shape.

I did get a different stone done for fun, gotta let that one cure a little longer before I can clean and ink it.

I finally molded and cast my Wayfarer's necklace crystal and I couldn't let myself do anything this evening but try to wrap it.

It's janky but reminding myself that this is a test, BUT A GOOD TEST! Waxed cord is wild to work with but made this easier than straight leather strips.

Going to have to redo the BRD one, but new fleet of job stone molds. And yes! Those two tall ones are #FFXIV related, ya'll will just have to wait and see what I'm making with them.

Just finished pulling and cleaning up the molds, going to have to remake a couple—goddamnit RPR—but pretty happy with the first round of individual molds.

I might try to make a big slab and then divide up from there but either which way, YAY MORE MOLDS! #FFXIV

Hey everyone! Normally, I make dice but custom job stones have been my favorite thing as of late, and working on custom one for different WoLs has been so much fun!

Be prepared for random job stone handouts during FanFest!
A semi-translucent, oddly shaped stone (Azem's stone from Final Fantasy XIV) colored with a pearlescent blue, white, and red. What does that mean? Taking all these clear cuties, sizing them up with mold walls, securing them in place, pouring silicone into the walls, then let them cure in the pressure pot.

Hell, if I'm lucky, I might get them all done today!

I'm going to try to get at least one stone done and send that feedback off tonight because I'm stalling hard on the details when making them. I keep telling myself these are first passes, STOP STRESSING SO MUCH IF SOMETHING DOESN'T WORK OUT!

This is what I've been obsessed with tonight, all because I got a silly story idea stuck in my head.

If I can get a good balance between the two designs, I think that's where I want that, but the red is SO dense and colorful, spreading it thin will have to be the way.
