Do you think Huang, Bezos, Musk, Ellison, and the folks at Palantir have been carefully advised by wise legal counsel what assisting in treason could mean for them? Or do they think a well-drafted and timely pardon will be sufficient?

I’m not sure AJ is with the Eagles next year. Sirianni, Patullo, and Hurts preference for playing not to lose is not the football he wants to play. Means more double coverage for Smitty. That last Hurts throw to AJ in the corner of the end zone felt personal to me.

Obviously if the 8 had not been signaling all along to Thune they would vote with him, he might not have been stubborn. And obviously @schumer.senate.gov knew what was going on and did not publicly blast them the first time he knew is a failure as well.

It’s so helpful for Bloomberg News to post the donors to the destruction of the East Wing of the White House because now we know who is going to pay to restore the East Wing.

Are we all clear that Trump is putting American soldiers in Israel? Do we think that’s going to end well?

@jimmykimmel.com I have a couple of spare bedrooms if you and @stephencolbert134.bsky.social need a place to lay your heads.

Somebody should tell Doug Burgam he’s never going to be elected to a national office—he’s from North Dakota—nice folks but few of them.

One assumes that at some point there is going to be an explanation for how a guy can walk down Park Ave with an automatic rifle and not get stopped by the cops.

When one observes the class, decency, the damn quiet, of the Jobs/Charles wedding when compared to that gopher slaughter of the Sanchez/Bezos wedding, one is inclined to cheer, for this moment, the English upper class and to hurry down to buy yet another iPhone.

One must forgive Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan Chase for his outburst today. Probably his valet or his chef or his chauffeur or his security team or his phalanx of executive assistants or his barber or his shoe shine guy said something this morning that was not sufficiently obsequious.

I have never understood who the folks who live in West Virginia prefer for their political leadership. The shrinkage of Medicaid and SNAP should test their commitment to that leadership, but I suspect it won’t, even with black lung cases rising.

Trump and his minions turn out to be hungry cannibals. Couldn’t happen to a better bunch, though I fear the Trump/Musk quarrel may not be real.

Maybe I missed this and I do think Biden did a wonderful job on foreign affairs, BUT it sure seems like we did not try hard enough on the 12 American hostages Hamas took. Never a day count or regular publication of their plight. Happy to be wrong, but am I?

It is confounding that Supreme Court Justices Alioto and Thomas act like there is no history. Do either of them honestly believe their corruption and warped opinions will survive? Do they honestly believe they will not be condemned by legal historians and subsequent legal analysts?

@schumer.senate.gov : The NY Times article about Musk hurting American Government activities that the Chinese government also wants defanged is stunning! Coming 24 hours after revealing that Hegseth the nitwit was going to brief Musk on potential US Operation Plans against China, it is truly scary!

@schumer.senate.gov , Senator Schumer is a diligent, smart guy. But his inability to avoid being rolled is troublesome. The Senate returns another long holiday on Monday March 24. If the Senate is still functioning on unanimous consent on Tuesday, that is compelling evidence that he is out of ideas.

@schumer.senate.gov : I am trying to be helpful though I suspect you will not experience it that way, but here goes—No more unanimous consent, call the quorum repeatedly. These are recommendations from CoPilot on how to slow Senate business way, way down. You are welcome.
