That's got to be satire, right? Cannot be true!

Also, "whisky" is only used for Scottiish (and sometimes Canadian or Japanese, for some reason) whisky. U.S. distilled whiskey is "whiskey".

JFC that was off the charts idiocy. Despite what he will undoubtedly say, Trump did not come out of that exchange looking good. He just talked over Zelensky, insisted Z kiss his ass, and then went i to his grievances list. Zelensky came out as the better leader. By far.

I didn't know Boxing-on-Ice was even a thing, but it looks like fun!

Unfortunately, the majority of voters don't understand nebulous concepts like "constitutional crisis" or "threat to democracy". I don't know what terms they should use, but the Dems need clearer, more tangible things to campaign on.

That sounds like he is lipsynching, but there's no actual recording to cover it up.

AFTER the surgery, Aetna DENIED the claim, saying it wasn't medically necessary, and refused to reimburse me. Then, to add insult to injury, the Dr. said as it wasn't covered by insurance I didn't get the "insurers discount" and therefore owed them another $10K. This is why I hate insurers. (2/2)

Correct. I currently subscribe to one outlet bc I read their stuff the most, but that prevents me from reading articles on other outlets because I don't want to pay another subscription. I'd happily pay the same amount but split over several outlets.

Too expensive. 10c max might might take off. 5c wold be better. Think about how many articles the average person would want to consume in a day/week and price based on what they would pay a month (i.e. way less than $10/mo). 5c x 5 articles a day x 30 days = $7.50/month.

Micropayments to read full articles built into the platform. News providers can make money and Bluesky users don't need to subscribe to (multiple) providers just to stay abreast. Extend to other creators like Substack etc, too.
