Why would you trust guarantees from a regime that has made it clear it wants to see a fragmented, divided and weakened Europe? One that doesn't care about international law? One that is treatening to invade it's neighbours?

It's a waste of time, this charade. These security guarantees don't mean anything, as the US is not really willing to guarantee any security in Ukraine, as with the Budapest memorandum

Ukraine shouldn't accept any limitations on the size of the military. Russia as the agressor state should have limitations imposed

I don't understand why Ukraine agrees to this. As Russia is the agressor, the size of the Russian military should be limited
