Jesus said nothing about respecting women. He said obey your masters. AND, he said, Follow me and you will be following the Law. He said the way to salvation was through him, and he was sent to fulfill the prophecies and Laws. Laws that condone many kinds of pain.

But that's not what Jesus said. He said every jot and tittle of the Law shall be fulfilled. Abrahamic law condones genocide, slavery, rape, and war. And, again, Jesus said obey your masters. So, according to his "own" words, Jesus supported slavery and rape.

More to the point, Christians are constantly perseverating about who they really are. We should judge the tee by it's fruits, right? How many times does a group get to say, "That's not who we are!" without changing behavior, before it becomes a lie?

Also, evangeliclizing is a Judeo Christian concept, and most other religions don't have that. I've never seen a Zen preacher.

What I know about Yeshua Ben David was that he was probably an amalgamation of first century doomsday preachers, which the Essenes were big on. The KJB says Jesus told his followers to be a slave, submit to your husband, and give what Ceaser is owed. Far from speaking against those evils, I'd say
