In the hat?

I saw the Vegas crash live on TV. That was one of the most traumatizing things I have ever seen (and I have been through a lot). I definitely don't want to see another crash. The one photo I've seen is enough to tell me it was horrible.

I gather there's something yes. I also don't care to watch. I like to be slightly aware (a general gist of things) but mostly uninformed for the sake of my mental health.

I avoid downtown Seattle too. But that's because the only parts I go to tend to have all the tourists and I am not into that.

I wish some people understood that all the African, Mexican, or Asian folks want is the same as what white/European folks want. They're generally good, hard working people who love their kids, families, and communities, and just want a good life...

I'm honored to have worked with all of them.

I'm a naturalized citizen. I was once proud of this place I've called home almost my whole life.

Now....

But I am very proud of all the hundreds of immigrant/refugee kids and families I've served over my career. They're lovely and this country is better because they're here.
