I brought a couple of flat caps today.

I like them a lot.

The grid pad 10s which is the specific device I am using also has a second screen which writes what I have spoken. So when I press play to speak if tuned on the second screen will display the text and symbols (if using symbols)

Symbol based for me means that I have words pre written with a symbol and then instead of having to type out each word I build a sentence using the words in the app. And there’s thousands of words and I can add to it as much as needed. And edit layout and fonts and colours etc.

Tic attacks.

They can be different for different people with TS.

Mine look like me shaking and/or thrashing about on the floor.

These can last for hours and hours. And afterwards I am paralysed for hours and days

My other tic attacks are more violent with thrashing about and punching myself.

These can range from multiple times a day to around once a week

When the self injury tics decide to spare up and stick around.

Then the padded clothing (hat and gloves mainly) and cushions and cuddly toys come out in force to try and reduce injury and pain etc.

Another good thing about having a more accessible bedroom with more space is that I can workout in my bedroom.
This means I can put things like this video on.

Video shows a projected screen of waves crashing and the audio is the sound of the waves. Plus my tics.

Said match went great.

Salford Red Devils (who I play for) won 46-12

A great match.

I took two conversion kicks and successfully converted both. My first ever conversion kicks in a match.

Definitely was worth the 6:30am alarm!
