There's fucking yaoi art on a train by my house I'm fucking losing my mind, this rules so much
Anime styled graffiti art on a train car depicting a male demon looking seductively at another man while saying "That's a good boy", with the phrase "kiss yr homies goodnight" in the bottom left corner.
Artist seems to be "Akira BPD"

It's weird I'm the angriest and most stressed out I've ever been but I also am compelled to be the absolute kindest I can be to people around me and I think others are too

It took a highly sophisticated Jacquard weave to create the incredibly detailed oranges that form the fabric of of this early 1890s dress. You can almost smell the citrusy peel. There so many details to observe here, the pattern matching, the cuff trim, the drama! #V&A #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡
A view of the back of an1890s dress showing the bodice with clusters of oranges woven into the fabric. It has black lace on the sleeves and a high collar A detail of the front of the bodice of the orange patterned 1890s dress showing black lace at the neckline and the detailed fruit Sleeve detail of the 1890s orange patterned dress which has a yellow silk trellis work trim with black lace Full length view of the front of the 1890s dress patterned with oranges and trimmed with black lace

I can't say anything specific but there's a gender affirming surgeon in the area that's an absolute butcher and it makes me insanely angry, it's so evil to take advantage of scared, vulnerable people like that.

I’m not keen on jumping ship just yet but if this place goes belly up I’m not going back to the mechahitler app. I’ll just go live behind the walls of the internet and play a pipe organ all day like the phantom of the opera.

Part of this nightmare era is the complete, engineered collapse of belief in human creativity and an increasingly desperate belief that nightmarish computer routines will somehow produce new wonders

The Will To Battle was excellent and now I'm to tired by the wait for Perhaps the Stars. It strikes me that in a lesser author this series would feel ugly and pessimistic but Ada Palmer is so good at describing the beauty of human achievement to counterpoint it's eternal flaws and failings...

I go blind with rage when anyone suggests the reason our healthcare is shitty is anything other than the fact that every fucking day insurers and private equity are just kicking out the rotten pillars still barely holding the whole system up to give the rich more fucking yachts
