This is more than poking the bear. Remember that at the time he was in jail awaiting trial on charges relating to child sex and trafficking. This statement likely would be used against him at trial. It's an admission. Extraordinarily stupid.

I've never heard anyone suggest that Epstein was stupid, and it would be really stupid to write and send this letter from a federal prison to another prison. Prison mail is subject to being opened and read.

Probably so, but even if it was planned in a meeting with top administration officials, it's unlikely that any of them would have thought to notify the people who would actually need to know about it.

But one fact is often ignored: Those things ARE IN FACT Socialist programs. The people who support those things, including GOP politicians, need to be reminded that they like and support socialist programs. It doesn't make them socialists. Just people who support some socialist programs.

I don’t seem to hear a denial here of using public funds to fly a private govt plane, with govt paid fuel and crew, to take him to watch his girlfriend sing at a wrestling match. And then back to DC.

It wouldn’t be the ABA. Whatever state bar(s) where she is admitted to practice would have the authority to suspend or disbar her. A complaint would have to be made and investigated. Ironically, she’d be entitled to the due process she denies to so many others.

May I suggest Green-Wood Cemetery? An amazing & beautiful place. Historic landmark & world class arboretum. Gothic main gate on 5th Ave with raucous squawking monk parakeets in huge communal nests. Basquiat, Bernstein, Boss Tweed all buried there. A wonderful place to walk in our beautiful Brooklyn.
