Working on setting up my space better, especially as I'm going to start incorporating streaming time. #resincraft project still on my docket. Next step is learning Blender so I can print a stand for it.

Coming back from a small hiatus where I got a job & lost that job; lost my mom and one of my rabbits... & only today did I finally think about catching up on some projects.

Started a new one-wire-sculpture with resin (base is curing), & sewed the lining (no zip) into a crocheted messenger bag.

Finished the pattern repeat with *just enough yarn* that I could cut it off. And now I'm waiting for new yarn to come in. No longer stash busting since it's about half as wide as I need it to be. Never enough yarn, I guess.

I asked friends to choose my focus for the next 2 weeks. They chose crochet. 🧶🧶🧶

I took a mid evening break and sanded a couple of resin pens instead. A glow in the dark and black spot square pen, and a black and dark orchid round pen.

I am so incredibly pleased by this sculpture experiment. Taking notes from #minimalist one line tattoos & drawings, I used gold wire to create a ballerina. But it needed something. Cue #resincraft: a pebbled texture of blue #uvresin surrounded by clear glitter epoxy as a stand. So delicate.
Against a black background is a curved wire sculpture. It abstractly shows a ballerina en pointe, one arm in the air as if she is spinning. The pedestal base is mostly crystal clear, but using chunky gold glitter. At the very center where her toe lands is light blue and shimmery white pebbled texture.

I love it when I get around to putting things together that have been waiting for my craft itch to strike. Though I suppose it would be nice not to keep finding bits tucked away from myself! Proud of this #resin experiment.

Another day, another #resin experiment for myself. Today: petri dish resin pour. Will be interested to see what happens. Especially since I'll also have to clear away that flashing from an over-pour.

Almost thought I was caught up putting together all the #resin bits 0of jewelry. After 26 sets of earrings and necklaces, I still have 21 to go, not counting things to sand or shape.

Resin, why you do me like this? Back on commission no. 1, and trying to see if it's salvageable at all. Maybe if I sand it all flat, then pour in some bronze to pull it all the way back to the dominoes?

Commission no. 2: strawberry red and black resin dominoes with a matching box.

Running a little PVA glue experiment to see if I can get my glitter and clay inclusions to slow down on sinking. If no, at least this red layer is transparent?

In trying to salvage my dominoes box, might have poured a bit too much #resin.

That said, initial #dirtypour attempt on the pen and the earrings isn't... bad? Not great but not bad. Open to suggestions for next time.

Of course I tried to fix a "mistake" and actually make a TRAGIC ERROR in doing so. Couldn't figure out how to build this box and thought I had over poured the top and bottom.

I'm all when I end up with a quarter inch of open space that wasn't planned. Oop.

Having a time trying to put together a box to hold my dominoes. Need to take a mild break from resin hyperfocus and switch gears. First stop is using these beautiful glass beads I got in. Then, crochet? I should move to my soft and cozy era again, lol.

Finally getting around to casting a matching box for my #resincraft dominoes. Plus some overflow pendants for necklace purposes? Gotta love experiments.
A blue silicone mold for each side of a narrow box for dominoes. It is filled with bles and gold translucent resin. There are a variety of shapes of pendant molds with one or two spaces filled with gold resin surrounding the box mold.

Successful improvement to the hand-caeved resin inlays I've been working on. Needed to go wider and moderately deeper.

Very hype to see my #resinjewelry upgrades. I have ideas thanks to a nail tutorial on YouTube that I simply must try.

Sanding resin for 3 hours is not my idea of a fun night. But plus side, I now have a personalized set of dominoes?
