Some things that interest me

Video games
Reading
Music
Ttrpg
Painting miniatures
Comics

There's more I'm sure, but these are the main things. I wanted to sub categorize, but I'm sure I would have run out of room.

Girlfriend bought me a set of fun dice... I thought they were aesthetically pleasing... Didn't realize right off they were demi, so now I have my go to set!

It took me a while to finish up "History of the Devil" by Daniel Defoe. Mostly because I got derailed by all the holiday stuff going on, also my ereader really didn't transcribe the book well.

Anyway, I'm back to a physical book! "For Your Eyes Only" by Ian Fleming.

I may not have received any books for Christmas, but I did get my now favorite bookmark! Fear not, a gift card ensures I get books... specifically three that I've been trying to get for some time that will complete a couple of series I lost due to divorce.

Been a bit busy of late so I haven't gotten around to the things that help me relax. After three days of trying to watch "Hiding Out", I managed to finish that today as well as watching "Strange Brew" and " True Stories".

Transporting someone to a dr appointment, so maybe I can get some reading in

So, I finished up with "Goldfinger" by Ian Fleming and it's nice to know that there are quite a lot of differences between book and film.

My next read (on my e-reader) will be "The History of the Devil" by Daniel de Foe.

Finally found a moment to settle in with some music. About 2000 albums, but what to listen to? Bellamy Brothers? AC/DC? Type O Negative? Conan Gray?

Naw, I pulled out old school!
Dean Martin

(Found this cd at a thrift store because the song "Houston" is on it).

Finally got a chance to finish "Death Speaks". The fun thing about YA books is that they're a bit fluffier even when zombies are involved. Not sure what sparked my interest in this series, but I'm glad I got it.

Back to Bond with "Goldfinger" by Ian Fleming

Kinda crazy that I slipped into reading overdrive mode. Just finished "Dr. No". I can't remember anything about the movie and reading this didn't even trigger any recollections.

But now I'm getting ready to read a YA book... "Death Speaks" by Tamara Rose Blodgett.

One thing I like to do when it comes to creating adventures in D&D, is to go outside the meat and potatoes of the game and offer some appetizers, so to speak. I toy with the idea of 0 level adventures for individuals or even small groups to have before the party gets together.

Just finished reading "Land of the Living" by Nicci French. At first I thought it was going to be horror, but it ended up being closer to a thriller. I enjoy stories of lost memories and trying to piece together what happened.

Next up in my reading endeavor is "Dr. No" by Ian Fleming.

Decided to watch something that had nothing to do with Christmas... 1979 film - Phantasm. Never saw it growing up, but seeing it available, I figured what the heck. Not sure exactly what it was, but I couldn't get into the story.

As a lover of music, I'm always happy to find something I've never encountered. Was shopping at a mall and there was something playing in the store... I was not familiar with the artist but was really liking what I heard. Evidently, I'm now gonna have to find Paris Texas albums

For all the TTRPG world builders out there... Treasure maps have always been fun to create, but one day while using index cards to create pre adventure scenarios, this concept popped in my head. It took a bit to find a good pattern that held together, but here is a pic of the mechanic.

Just finished reading 'From Russia With Love' by Ian Fleming.
Now I head over to my electronic book to read 'Land of the Living' by Nicci French. Horror? It seems it might be "kidnapped, and tied up in an airless shed". I guess I'll find out.

Just finished up watching "Enemy of the World" with the Doctor. I wasn't too keen on the 2nd Doctor, but I've grown to like his style a bit more. Fury From the Deep is the last arc to season 5. I guess my only regret to not getting into Dr. Who sooner, is that so many episodes have been lost.

I miss my playing days, but I've kept my books and modules. 1st, 2nd, and 5th editions (because I thought I'd start playing again). A few dice in view, but my main bag is in a carrier with the rulebooks. I seem to be missing a couple of my 1st ed. Books, though, loaned out never to be returned.

Watching season 6 of Red vs Blue... not entirely impressed. There isn't much continuity. I thought to change up my series watching. >shaking my head<
At least I have a lot of Dr. Who to catch up on... currently on the 2nd Dr. and Tubi has up to the 7th.

Trying to post a little bit each day to keep from becoming a hermit. Though I have a few hobbies, gaming on the Xbox is my main focus. Been playing Borderlands 2 with my little brother (54). He's playing Zer0 and I'm using Axton.

Lost my library about 3 years ago. Here's how my search is going in order to replace the books I still wanted (as well as new reads for me). Thrift stores are helping a lot.

Back in the early 90s we used to 'wargame' making our own padded weapons and chainmail... I'm the one on the far left. My nickname was Q-tip for some odd reason. 🤪
