Best usecase I've seen is for driving, when dressed specifically for the day (warmish weather, but indoors while at your destination) & not the situation (in a car w lots of windows). You could wear a UV jacket, but sleeves=less bulk, so more comfy while sitting, & less constrictive across the back.
