A pretty standard LSDJ WAV channel kick I use in my LSDJ tunes. Inspired by some tips I received from @flippendo.bsky.social This one is fairly loud but the key trick is putting a short length noise transient on the noise channel to play in conjunction with it. 9.4.0. #lsdj #chipsky

A useful electric bass sounding slap bass patch I came up with a while ago in LSDJ. Using it again for this week's weeklybeat. Don't forget to alternate low and high note octaves for maximum bass slappy-ness. You can also transpose the first tick up an octave in a table for a pluck effect. #lsdj

An aggressive metal lead guitar patch for M8 Tracker. Wavsynth engine with a little PWM and a lot of chorus. Deep fried with a little POST:AD distortion. The trick here is to add a MULT LFO set to RANDOM with a frequency of one 16th note to create a guitar flatpicking sound in phrase. #m8tracker

Don’t sleep on the M8 Tracker’s Struck Drum synth, found in the Macrosynth synth engine. With settings like the ones below you can easily play smooth, eerie and nuanced melodies by drawing out the notes of the struck drum and making them sound more like a wind instrument then percussion. #m8tracker
