November 20, 2025 at 2:58 AM
lining is canvas so i dont have to use stabilizer, i’m very smart
November 19, 2025 at 4:54 AM
the back is also very cute and uses thrifted linen n___n

bag prototype! it’s cute but it’s got problems!! i don’t like how the block tangents w the edges so i’m gonna add strip panels to the outside as a buffer, and prob make the sides much wider so it can be a pencil bag format. plus then i can add bottom corner gussets w/o it cropping the quilt block

wondering if i can find heat-erasing or water-erasing ink in a bottle that i can saturate a stamp pad with, so i can carve a little stamp in the silhouette that i trace onto fabric to sew my fish pins.. that would save me such an insane amount of time lol

i got annoyed with not having anything for my phone to sit on while sewing when i’m watching a stream or smth so i took a break to make this silly little phone stand >.< just a simple rectangle folded over with the ends tucked in to make that dumpling shape. plastic beans in the bottom to weight it

wait five. forgot the super bright grow lamp.. that one turns off automatically at 8 though
November 13, 2025 at 7:23 PM
how’s this??
November 12, 2025 at 9:55 PM
yeah i like that a lot more! alrighty!! @__@ a half inch bigger. but now they look a lot more proportional with the keychains and will prob be perceived as more valuable… silly
November 12, 2025 at 9:54 PM
haven’t attached keychain yet but.. should i make these like an inch bigger?.. it would certainly make them easier to sew. im keeping the pins this size but maybe a keychain should be larger >__>

oh nvm using the chopstick + thin metal drinking straw i got just for turning tiny things inside out makes it totally easy n____n first time trying that. feels way less likely to rip the fabric vs the fine point forceps i had been using too

November 12, 2025 at 6:57 AM
thank u!! it is a stylization of a ceanothus silk moth, native to west coast. there’s sightings of em in town on inaturalist but i haven’t seen one yet >.>

November 11, 2025 at 9:32 PM
okay this worked and RULED i was able to pull these SO FUCKING FAST. 53 prints in an hour and a half.. i am selling these (consistently!!) for $5 each HEEHOO!!! and/or working these into sewing projects at that value. im feeling so powerful (and also sore)
November 11, 2025 at 8:38 PM
i keep saying “gay little monkey” in my head today bc i keep standing like this while i’m peering over the edge of my very tall table carefully inspecting my inked blocks
November 11, 2025 at 8:19 PM
ok pog. will see if this works in a bit!.. ofc as soon as i finished i realized if i made a jig that holds them all in a pleasing composition i could quickly pull paper prints lol.. adding that to the potential to-make list >___>
