The ‘My Reading Shawl’ designed by Kay Jone is easily the most used knitted item in our home. My youngest daughter has requested I knit another one just for her. She chose shades of gold and soft pinks, peaches, and greens against an off white background. It will be lovely.

January Socks Complete! I was inspired by the yarnharlot to start my own ‘self-imposed sock of the month club’. I gathered 12 skeins of sock yarn from my stash and put each in its own little bag. Just 10 rows a day will make a completed pair of socks at the end of every month.
