A master thread of Game log 🧵 till now:

Each quoted thread expands to individual games on that platform with a short review of that game.

Sometimes includes DLCs too:
#AssassinCreedMirage #ValleyOfMemory DLC

- MoCap was so good. At places, better then the main game

- Terrible Motion Blur(can be turned off on PC, not on consoles apparently, fix soon hopefully)

- Basim is very Lore accurate setting(AC Valhalla)

- Very Emotional Story, better then base game

A list of Games Completed on PC

Not an exhaustive list, only includes some which I played recently & stopped to take a screenshot in between.

Specs: 5070ti + Ryzen 9600X

#ForzaMotorsport

Best guilty pleasure.

It Doesn't even need any narrative relevance. Just boot up & play.

The simulation feeling is absent.

It's true that this is a bridge between Simulator & Arcade racers.

Don't expect iRacing type simulation or Forza Horizon's arcade steering.

#AssassinCreedMirage

- Even though it's a shorter game, the length feels good with the map & setting.

- Parkour is awesome, makes me remind old AC games.

- Stealth is a core fundamental in its gameplay, it forces you to sneak instead of a full fledged fight. Narrative also explains this.

#Battlefield6OpenBeta

Extremely fun & engaging.

The lobbies had small issues in the beginning but it got smoothened out with patches.

Before release, Battlefield 2042 had my excitement on the peak. Now I think I am back at the same peak.

Preordered. Oct 10 can't come soon 🤤

#BlackOps6: Campaign

- This is the most horror Black Ops main line title to date. They included Zombies element in the main story.

- 'Emergence' mission made me lose my sleep for 2 months, wasn't able to move past the first boss of the mission.

- Open world elements are overdone a bit.

#StarWarsJediSurvivor

- Poor performance even after this long of its release, just got done with the story today

- Memory leaks caused very frequent crashes

- Story is good. Ending feels empty

- The world is way bigger then fallen order

- Navigating the world is a mess. Terrible design choices

#IndianaJonesAndTheGreatCircle

- The Acting done by Troy Baker as Indiana is superb. Tony Todd was amazing too.

- The blend between 3rd person & 1st person is executed very well.

- The graphics are absolutely unreal(pun intended). The path tracing makes the game feel alive.

- It eats VRAM.

#Mafia2

- If I say this project was in dev-hell, it will sound polite.

- The development choices of Mafia 2, changing devs in the middle. Whole regions getting cancelled & many more things weren't enough. The title still excelled.

- This is my most favourite in the entire trilogy.

- Vito is 🫶

#MafiaDefinitiveEdition

- What can I say about this new rendition of a classic. Absolute peak.

- The gameplay is kept short & simple just like the OG from 2002, easy to get used to.

- The story & narration I felt is better in 2002 version.

- The credit scene is 🍒 on top

- Can play this 10 times

#AvatarFrontiersOfPandora

- Same as HFW, I felt the breeze of beautiful graphics right at the beginning of the game.

- Avatar as a film franchise was already successful, this improves it yet again.

- Each vegetation feels so real, specially when its interactable.

- Story could have been faster.

#RajiAnAncientEpic

- Very beautiful depiction of an emotional narrative.

- The team had lots of budget issues while creating the game, the hard work paid off.

- The platformer vibe is kept with beautiful colors.

- Vividness of the game helps in bringing new audience into gaming.

#HorizonForbiddenWest

- The moment I booted up the game, I knew a visual extravaganza is coming.

- The world building is taken to next level by Guerrilla.

- Much like the previous one, this also feels that the side stories are better then the main game.

- Set Pieces are brilliant.

Game Log till 29 April, 2025.

🧵 will continuously be updated until I have posted all the major games I have played till this day.

Mostly will be from #PS5, which has been my primary gaming platform for the past 2-3 years.

Before this I was strictly a #PC gamer. Returned to the same, again.

God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla DLC

- The best gift a game dev can give to their fans, a love letter to the entire #GodOfWar Fanbase.

- Gives a necessary closure to Kratos's entire Greek+Norse saga.

- Free DLCs, Easily would've paid for how good it was.

- Combines each mechanic for unique gameplay
April 29, 2025 at 7:13 AM
#GodOfWar 2018 + #GodOfWarRagnarok

- Story & narration OUT OF THIS WORLD. Characters too.

- Mechanics feel simple & engaging, the endgame offers unique content for exploration as well as skill.

- Took 30+ tries to beat Sigrun😭. Another 10 to beat Berserker King, 20+ for Gna.

#RocketRacing.

Not a review, just adding this as I liked the arcady nature of the game & can be an easy 'tough day at work' game I come home to play a few matches of.

Also reminds me of PacMan World Rally(Last pic), I used to be a fan of that game.

#HorizonZeroDawn + Frozen Wilds

- Fun world building with phenomenal graphics for its initial 2017 release date
(Not the remastered version with HFW graphics/models).

- Characters have a distinct weight, origin story with lots emotional side lore.

- Easily adaptable combat which grows with story.
April 29, 2025 at 6:49 AM
#Spiderman2

- Major improvements to Swinging, Air tunnels are amazing traversal mechanic.

- Black suits & minute interactions which are easy to miss(like agent venom) makes the game more interesting.

- Post ending game feels empty, as with previous entries by #Insomniac.games

- Side quests are 🔥
April 29, 2025 at 6:28 AM
#CrewMotorfest.

- The world is beautiful, one of the best I have seen the first time I played this game.

- The bushes & grass Physics interacts well with the player objects(cars, bikes, planes), many greenaries are destructible.

- Playlists are amazing, give you a good graphical tour of the game.
April 29, 2025 at 6:20 AM
Spiderman 2018 + Miles Morales:

- Emotional Story for Pete & Miles. 2018 had the most impact amongst @insomniac.games SM titles.

- Swinging & Physics had great vibe, felt something good was being played.

- Side characters were build beautifully.

- Combat was recursive, button mashing.
April 29, 2025 at 5:44 AM
Ghost of Tsushima + Iki Island.

- A brilliant blend of a master-student & a father-son love.

- Engaging Gameplay with errand of open world simulation at a budget.

- At times, Side story feels better then main.

- DLC adds much wanted complexity to the Gameplay.
