If anyone else is not going to suck their dick for the $5 you're "ungrateful" for, they also shouldn't be allowed to say that they'd take that $5, since that wasn't part of the purchase agreement.

Not to mention others being gross about you being "unappreciative" of said $5. Yeah, it helps, but it's not about *the amount* that you're unappreciative about, it's them "othering" you, making you less than what you are, and saying what a great gift it is to receive that $5.

It's one thing to say "hey, I got this quality art from this person, check them out!" and "this person is in financial ruin, I gave them $5! They're no longer struggling because of me! Where are my head pats?"
