this is what started it. i had an espresso on a recent coffee date & it came in this julius meinl signature demitasse.
a very attractive red demitasse with a tapered bottom resting on a red and white saucer. the handle of the cup is black and swoops down from rim to base with a slight twist so that it terminates at a roughly 90 degree angle from the starting point. the cup also bears a white silhouette of the meinl trademark, an elfin youth in profile with a tall fez-like/pixie-ish tasseled hat.
