As an OR Dem, I say to Dems, wake-up call. We need a sales tax, and we need caps on income taxes. Too easy to move to WA or other state tax friendlier state w/ better economies.

Perhaps you are correct, but I'll take PPS over ICE and others any day. They are not all perfect but they are not bad, and we need them. AND, homeless sweeps are a good thing, so long as we have a healthy and safe place to move them to.

Disagree, TBD. I am loeft of center centrist. This means I feel very strongly about my issues and/but agree w/ far lefties on perhaps 90 to 95% of them. But, we all agree, open and fair primaries, then vote blue N/M who

I have given nothing yet to Dems b/c I don't know where it will best serve. I gave over $1K in 2024 (pissed down the crapper).
I now believe $ should go to voter registration, on the ground organiaton, etc. Almost nothing should go to foucs groups, consultants and especially corporate media ads.

why just a white thing? WSure, mostly white Europeans screwed over indigenous peoples, but I don't even know anymore what is white. Is it skin tone below a certain threshold? Is it having ancestry from more than 100 years ago? Is it anybody of privilge who isn't a native American?

Yes, it is, but this is unfortunately how most news publications operate. Journalists don't write their headlines or summaries. So lay off Browning, his article was fair. Don't shoot the messenger.

I think I benefit from the fact that I'm legally blind. I don't see or am affected by the pics.
The article was a balanced summary of the issue(s). It didn't take a position. But, I suppose one can glean from it what they think they will glean.
