Yes, I think you’re absolutely right. We can rage all we like at the stupid and senseless act, but ultimately that is feeding them as they sit back and hope to hide.

My golden loved corn on the cob. It was many years ago, before we read about the danger. He lived to be 15 and a half and had no health issues apart from leg weakness I his last few months. Enjoy life, don’t worry so much. I mean this kindly, I know people worry a lot about their dogs

Me too I suspect. However, I am a little distracted by the odd choice of picture over his bed and what looks like a slice of pie under the bedside cabinet. Is there a subtle joke I’m missing ?

Completely agree. I left the grass and nettles to grow as they wished this year, and was thrilled beyond measure to find these guys. (Peacock butterfly caterpillars, dozens of them)

It’s a rough pencil sketch scanned and quickly coloured in procreate. Watercolour is my preferred medium, but pencil is easier when lurking in a cafe ! Glad you like it 😊
