Dumped FB, craving some social media I guess. Anyway here’s some things I made lately.

Got the floor down today, still loving the way it’s coming together. Only one more big job, I will paint the countertops and tile instead of replacing them.

Found the perfect blingy knobs for the cabinets, the trim is satin black. Waiting on flooring to be delivered. I’m in love with this remodel so far.

Saw this posted elsewhere and man it hits home. Sums up why I have such mixed emotions about this holiday.

Walls are white, cabinets are getting another coat of satin black. Man I love ripping out old flooring. Hello sub floor. Jackie the cat is my supervisor.

Starting a bathroom cosmetic update today. Taking a contractor grade blah bathroom to Hollywood glam hopefully. First step was to install some extra light for my elderly mom.

Well y’all it didn’t go great. Promising start that quickly went awry. I’m only showing the top down view because it’s pretty fugly from the side. Oh well, I’ll try again with lessons learned.

Willow weaving journey step 2. Successful bend test- thickest parts bend but don’t crack after soaking for 6 days. Now the willow mellows in the soaking bag for 24 hours. #baskets #crafting

I’m trying to learn how to weave willow baskets. Step 1, the soak. Aren’t those colors pretty though?
