I have a book about C64 Basic laying around with similar gag to this. It also had references to a virus where a some computer code gets a cold.

It’s not just that, the C64 version was apparently purposefully borked at the warehouse level because the game was a mess.

Same. I remember my grandad taking me to pick my dad up from work one evening bravo’s our car was in for repair. It was on the radio and it was one of the few times I heard my grandad swear.
