Donald Trump says quite a lot of mean words doesn’t he? In fact he has said quite a lot of disrespectful things about people involved in law enforcement. But perhaps that’s different for some reason? Maybe next time he could be asked to explain that difference.

Worryingly it feels like this is not the action of a government that has even the slightest concern about what effect this might have on the mid-terms. Getting a strong sense that the mid-terms are being viewed as being no threat to Trump, whatever the outcome.

This is why I don’t believe he is a “Russian asset”. He doesn’t need to be. He is a world class narcissist and fool. Any child could figure out how to drag him around by the hair and yet still convince him that his ’amazing like you wouldn’t believe’ hair was in fact pushing the child around.

I just think that if Bondi has allowed somebody who had any kind of involvement with this criminal to in any way influence the investigation into his crimes, she should be forced to resign right?

Because Trump obviously has a huge conflict of interest in anything involving the Epstein files, can Bondi be forced to confirm that he has / has had no contact with the DOJ regarding this case? Genuine question. This should be the case shouldn’t it?

He is such an incredibly strange human being. I can't think of anyone to compare him to who is above the age of 10. The FIFA thing, his Reiner comments, those plaques. He is abhorrent yet pitiful in equal measure. I can't help wondering who he would have become if he hadn't been born into wealth.

I doubt that anyone in his life who has actually known him as ever shown him genuine friendship, let alone love. Having somebody with such a starkly damaged personality in charge of the US remains utterly terrifying.

Spare a thought for poor Mike Johnson at this time. Currently working a 24hr shift in a locked windowless room with no means of communication with the outside world, he is going to be completely blindsided by everything that’s been going on today.

Had just been looking at some art from old Ladybird book artists, and as I scrolled down through this photo I thought that was what this was. Absolutely beautiful colours. It was only the lady’s face that made me realise that it wasn’t.

First time I've seen her look like she doesn't have faith in her "get out" lines. In fairness she is trying to thread an elephant of lies, hypocrisy, double standards, criminality, corruption, utter confusion and stone cold racism through the eye of a needle. Tricky that.
