needless to say I haven't got past 'disc 3' yet and unlikely to ever, at this stage. Bless them though. The only box set I ever wanted was David Sylvian's first few albums in it, and then I found it in Red Eye for a silly price but now I have it, and no other box sets. Oh the Stravinsky of course.

I got a notification this morning that there's a new Super Deluxe Edition of Tales From Topographic Oceans available. It has 12 discs (according to Apple Music which doesn't have discs) and despite everything I am going to be spending today listening to it.

I have yet to perform wearing a cape, but

reminds me of the time an academic lost 7 years of research because he falsely thought our backup systems would take care of it and didn’t have his own copy of the work when all the computers in the department got stolen in a brazen heist by corrupt cleaning contractors. fun times.

I saw them here ooh I don’t know maybe 20 years ago now and it was such a going-through-the-motions show what with Bernard’s teleprompter and all. They got bored of it all a lot earlier than most bands somehow?

No, we’re a bit south of Bermagui. First one is Barragga Bay, second one is on the map as Jaggers Beach but the family know it as Seeton’s bc that’s who owned the adjoining property in the 80s 🙃

It would be practically and legally impossible to hold a royal commission that goes anywhere near the actions or motivations of the accused killer, before his criminal proceedings are concluded, which could take years. That limitation would render the royal commission itself pointlessly premature.
