He’s clearly never tried to access the Beltline or Mud Creek during the winter time, which are basically unusable to anyone without crampons or a fat bike 😬

What a great route! Nice way to connect some of southern Ontario’s best bike trails and make use of the GO train to start and end your tour.

I absolutely love this place. I just wish they had added in some temporary shade cover until the trees grow a bit taller!

This helmet light is on the pricier side but it functions as both a front and rear light, so if you consider it to be $25 per side it’s actually a good deal! (No personal experience with this light) curbsidecycle.com/products/top...

I think the recommendation to use a helmet light is your best bet, but if you’re looking for a bolt-on light, Curbside has a few on sale at the moment. I have the Spanninga Elips Battery Rack Mount Rear Light on my rear rack and have been happy with it so far.

Get out of downtown! Take the subway to Warden Station and walk through Warden Woods on the Gus Harris Trail, then on to Taylor Massey Creek. At Cullen Bryant Park exit to Coxwell and take the Coxwell bus back to Line 2 subway.

I share your sentiment! I nearly fell off my chair when I read that people had the nerve to oppose an addition to a long term care home in a transit rich walkable neighbourhood!!! www.torontotoday.ca/local/city-p...
Yorkville residents furious over proposed 11-storey long-term care home expansion
Homeowners argue the addition to Belmont House complex will create congestion and shadows in neighbourhood

The Bosch motor on the Vektron is great and it totally flattens hills. The rear rack is very burley and I’ve carried tons of heavy stuff on it. The Vektron doesn’t have the cushy suspension or belt drive of the HSD/GSD lines though.

If it’s in your budget, consider a Tern Vektron! I keep mine in my unit, folded up in the entryway.

This is such a pet peeve of my mine! They always do that to the quick release on my bike seat post, why?!?! 😩

I am reminded of this classic Planet Money episode ☺️https://www.npr.org/2019/06/12/731987365/episode-590-the-planet-money-workout
The Planet Money Workout : Planet Money
Gyms don't want you to workout. Or at least, not often. It's better for business that way. Economics explains why.

A cargo net and any reusable bag I have on hand has saved me in a pinch many times!
