I spent 30 years teaching in the public schools. I love my family. I love my dogs. I love our National Parks. I believe in equal rights and the beauty of diversity and transparency and integrity in government. I’m opposed to fascism.
I hope it can be. It was a wonderful library. Our county doesn’t have the money (or the inclination) to run a really good library.

I am still grieving over our library in Yancey , North Carolina, which was taken over last June by our bigoted MAGA county commissioners and jerked out of the outstanding 3-county regional library to which it had belonged for 60 years…all so that they could practice discrimination.
