I have to say this Brave New World is pretty disgusting. Every day brings new and horrible things. We in the USA have the most incompetent government at the national level imaginable. Some states like Utah rival the Federal Government for their disgusting decisions. The people are not allowed a say.

Frankly what is going on in this country is terrifying. Dissent is being silenced by corporate toadies in the Emperor's pocket. Freedom of Speech is under threat but not from the government but from the quasi-government. If the people do not rise up against this, I fear the end is near.

New York Times coverage of yesterday's events is abysmal. I don't even think that word covers how bad and remiss it is. According to them TACO had a big beautiful parade and a few protestors were out nationwide. Pitiful.

This 20 year Air Force veteran struck the colors weeks ago. I realized what we were in for in this country. I won't fly the flag again until this is over. There are several ways it might end, none of which are particularly good. But end it will.

Anyone with an eye or ear that works can see just exactly the level of loyalty one maga has for another. The diva spat between trump and musk is illustrative to anyone willing to look what will happen to followers eventually. Open your eyes people.

It is really a strange feeling living in a certified dictatorship. I love all the people who claim to be for freedom who are worshipping at the altar of the orange TACO. He is a totalitarian and will do away with all freedoms if given the chance.

All that is going on in the USA is too disgusting, too distressing, too unbelievable (though really it is too believable) to see and hear about on a daily basis. The sad fact is one can't really escape it. No matter what one does or where one goes, it follows. History does repeat. 1933 - 1945 again.

This all needs to stop. I think the damage already done is more than enough. I don't think I ever imagined a larger group of totally unqualified people who could be put in charge of important areas of life. I guess it really does have electrolytes.

It is becoming more and more clear that the democrats will do nothing to stop what is being done by trump. Most are too concerned with keeping their jobs or just getting richer. Something needs to be done. But will it get done? I doubt it.

Military commanders are being fired because they challenge the supreme leader or just because they are female, a person of color, or have a "funny" name. This isn't the way the USA is supposed to operate. This is some third world BS.

I find it absolutely amazing that so many news sources are ignoring the on going coup d'etat. Constitutional law has broken down. The Bill of Rights is being ignored. Yet the media treats it as business as usual.

Trying very hard to like and use Bluesky. I don't like it. I want to get away from Facebook but there is no viable alternative for long form communication. Twitter and Bluesky are both too disjointed for my taste. I never did Twitter.

I am probably going to ignore the Super Bowl this weekend. What I consider as my home town team is in the game. However the orangutang in chief will be there, the NFL is removing the "End Racism" message from the end zones, the fox announcers suck terribly.

Well it is really true that when you "drain a swamp" only the pond scum, dead creatures, and rot is left. That is what we are getting in Washington DC. Some of them are certainly dead inside because there is no way a living breathing organism could possibly be so hateful and disgusting.

Just unfollowed the New York Times on Facebook. I was getting tired of seeing the scumbags face every two minutes. Now if I could just break my Facebook habit. Still seeking an alternative that serves the same purpose as well. Unfortunately I haven't found one.

The choices are so bad that they aren't even good enough for a trump cabinet. That is saying something because there is the bottom of the barrel and then there are the trump choices.
