SoulCalibur II

On top of being one of the best fighting games, Link is so much fun to play as. There's a lot of modes and plenty to unock.

I wouldn't mind seeing a remastered collection of the console and handheld Sims games.
The Sims

Not a port of the PC version, but a new Sims game made specifically for consoles, with focus on the Get-A-Life campaign. Also the first Sims game that was in 3D.

Gotta love people acting like dicks, insulting you (one ironically being "Go back to Twitter", despite them being aggressive) then blocking you after sending you another insult.

Nothing wrong with blocking people, but sending an insult then blocking is so immensely childish.

My thoughts on the Stargate SG-1 pilot episode Children of the Gods.

Also, my rewatch of Stargate coincided nicely with the announcement of a new Stargate show.

Piglet’s Big Game

A lovely little kids horror game. Lots of nice visuals and a surprisingly creepy atmosphere.

I'm going to attempt writing TV episode reviews as I rewatch all of Stargate.

Started off with the film, I'll see how I get on.

Batman: Dark Tomorrow

A game so unfinished, it's astounding. There's a fixed camera because the devs never got round to making one - in fact, the porting company ended up making a lot of the game as the main developers mainly had cutscenes and music.

I have no idea why, but my son has decided that Sonic Rumble is called "Sonic and the big big wet soggy ring".

Still the best 3D Sonic.
HAPPY 15TH ANNIVERSARY, SONIC COLORS!

On 12 Nov 2010, Sonic Team released this intergalactic adventure - which was the first time @rogercraigsmith.bsky.social voiced Sonic - on Wii and Nintendo DS in Europe. 🇪🇺

The game would later release Nov 16 in the US, and Nov 18 in Japan.

My second Mega Man game, after Mega Man 64.
Mega Man Network Transmission

A 2D Mega Man platformer with some RPG element, and a spin-off of the Battle Network games on GBA. Unfortunately, a few annoying things get in the way.

A great idea for a Wii U game is hidden in the GameCube version of Rayman 3.

The player on the GBA creates a road with puzzle pieces, the players in the screen races on it. There's also a 2v2 version of it.

I gave Sonic Rumble a whirl. Seems decent although microtransactions and unlocks look absolutely horrible.

Not sure if the game starts you off with bots to ease you in before pitting you against advanced players so you have to upgrade.

Sonic Unleashed

The Wii version is great, with a much better lives system and better level design.

It's a bit random for Nintendo to have play activity in the shop app, but it's nice that it supports Wii U and 3DS data.

I was excited to see North Wales in a video game, although it was nothing like the real location.
Rally Championship

A fun rally game. I didn't realise how fictional locations in some rally games are were until this - one of the locations is not far from where I live and is nothing like it.
