Idk, Endfield just feels... weird to me in some ways. Like it was trying to do something different and ended up, once again, becoming mostly a generic gacha.

1. Pylons near edges of zones (since it wasn't a connected open world)
2. Having to find a terminal in order to have other player's structures show up.
3. Being able to manually target battle skills.
Among some other things.

Look at ZZZ during the early technical tests and then look at it when it released.
Tldr: You can tell something was scrapped and hastly put together just to make it like every other gacha game.
