Last I recall it’s the mathstodon.xyz instance specifically that supports it. I don’t think just any Mastodon instance supports LaTeX otherwise.
LaTeX support is one of the few things I miss about it, but I didn’t often find myself making frequent use of the feature anyways.

This incident is a reminder that operating large-scale software systems is damn hard.
Amazon and AWS have standout engineering teams, very good processes + mentality around reliability, and keep improving their systems.
But when a system grow, they need to change. Change can cause new issues....

It seems like having access to good tools like gimp also doesn't help. Claude itself says that it's best at ascii illustrations, which makes sense given it's best at text
