This is the last message we got. Sunday. A smug and self congratulatory 91%.
This is when I began to suspect we were in the worst impacted areas.
I still hadn't gotten any useful information on social media from my electeds about which areas were next on the list, what the schedule was, etc.

By Saturday evening there was still no verifiable information about WHICH areas were hit hardest and people without power and internet were begging for any scrap of reassurance that help was on the way.

I haven't even done a back of the envelope calculation, but my heart's guestimate is at least $300 - $400. This is most (not all!) of the food I lost because the City of Tallahassee kept implying power would be back SO SOON.

Majel is a pandemic baby to a chronically ill Covid cautious person, which means her socialization is almost nil.
And it's a damn shame because that means no one else will ever get to experience her asking for play:
She comes up and gently taps your leg, drops one of her frisbees, chirps, and runs

I have been trapped like this for the better part of an hour. Majel is only on ONE foot, which is both annoying to my physical need for symmetry and also now that foot is asleep.
Mithril is purring so loudly I thought a truck drove by at one point. I simply cannot evict her when she's so happy.
