They're also right to note that part of the problem is the press, again, with their focus on the 'excitement' of Reform & Farage whilst boring stuff like water bills or groceries isn't clickbait enough

Starmer is still wasting time & alienating supporters with the Reform Lite policy, when he needs to focus on tangibly improving day to day living. Some things are already happening but not promoted, others such as the later water & utility bill hikes are appalling, food inflation too, all ignored.

Terriible clickbait & insulting headline leading to a serious article. I was prepared to be upset with how facile the article would be, but in fact Malik is right. The focus on 'patriotism', hides the real concerns that will decide the next election, the cost of living crisis that hasn't stopped.

FFS. What is happening in the UK right now? Monitoring social media is the job of the police if they think a crime is being committed, not a general thing for universities to waste time & money on, on behalf of arms companies. This should be pretty basic stuff.

The Tories are a lost cause however Starmer & Labour, Blue Labour especially, need to take note & fast. Appeasing Reform does not work, it is as toxic as trying to implement Brexit. The two are related, appeasing both will result in Labour suffering the same fate as the Tories. The big loser? The UK

.....and Starmer repeatedly telling British people what is 'un-British' really pisses me off too. I don't know who is advising him or why he listens, the toxic Blue Labour shower I imagine, but their advice is losing Starmer's Labour masses of supporters, alienating us en masse. Stop it please.

True, however most of the things going wrong for Labour are self inflicted. The press hates them & the world situation is tough but cutting incomes of the poor, sounding like Reform, further curbing protest, attacking the LGBTQ+ community & supporting Brexit are all willing choices they have made.

We get it. Don't work from home, do buy expensive sandwiches & coffee every day, do pay a fortune in commuting fees but don't ever enjoy being in the workplace interacting with your colleagues, make sure you behave, work as a team but in work hours only, leave & turn up the next day without fail

An 'iconic' Ocean Drive that is only iconic thanks to the LGBTQ+ community that recognised its value & invested in it when the rest of Miami had turned its back on it. I hadn't heard them, now I have, thanks to the public statement made by Harper Collins in order to bend the knee! Note how HC don't say the claims are false, just they have been unverified

Journalists need to find out who is doing it, where they come from & who is paying them. Waking up to flags hanging outside your house or crosses spray painted on walls is intimidating & is meant to be. None of this is an accident, nor is it a show of pride, it is meant to instil fear.

I find it astonishing & depressing that Starmer spends much of his time ignoring that open goal & ignoring his own personal history of being a decent person too. No idea why he is still listening to & repeating Blue Labour either, especially as they have such a disastrous effect on Labour support.
