Hell, even some of my 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡-𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙣 animal OCs have experienced some bizarre, albeit more-mental-than-physical transformations at some point in their lives (e.g., Odhran losing his left eye, Lauren losing her otter instincts, Shelly becoming "eternally" dumb).

Nah, there's definitely more where this came from. My own rabbit sona is essentially an alternate-universe version of my teenager self that learned the hard(er) way that I'm not as "superior" as I stubbornly tried to present myself as.
