The Downward Spiral (1994). A genuine masterpiece. This album completely changed my perspective of NIN. I seriously don’t even know what to say. Everytime I listen to it, I find something new to like about it. It’s insane to believe that something this well produced came out over 30 years ago.

Broken (1992). This album completely switched what NIN sounds like. Every song explodes in your ears. This album brings harsh noise and anger. Every song on this album is a 10/10. The very first S tier NIN album. The “snuff” film released along with this album is extremely intense, like the music.

Pretty Hate Machine (1989) It’s insane how much the music has changed from this point. This album is very “synthy” compared to everything after. IMO I think this is an easy A tier album. There’s only 2 songs that I don’t like as much which is why it doesn’t go in S. Here’s all my phm era merch.

It was very interesting to go to Trent’s hometown show. It’s so cool visiting the first venue “NIN” played and seeing how big and successful Trent was able to get.
