My 'Discover' feed has become content of mostly those I follow and pictures of pizza... I wholly welcome this algorithm 🍕

What do you call the "obsessed with Japanese stationary" stage of your life?

DAE ever come across trying to fix an issue where you just go: "I think I should learn a new programming language and framework instead of trying to fix this..."

Currently in Hanoi and back-to-back typhoons is pretty wild I'd have to say. While Hanoi is more inland, flooding in the streets of homes and businesses are common with cars and bikes being stranded in the middle of the streets.

Two apps designed for sharing feedback or insights on potential romantic matches have both "spilled the tea" on their own users personal information such as driver's licenses, locations, and images...

The comedy writes itself sometimes 😂

I don't know if I clicked on something political but my "Discover" feed has BLOWN UP in political posts... I left X/Twitter for a reason and hitting "Show less like this" on EVERY post is getting to be too much.

@bsky.app is the only solution just to stick to my "Following" feed only?

Having done two small projects in both AstroJS and @reactrouter.com I can wholeheartedly say...

Deleted my account at Vercel and decided to centralize all things (domains, workers, and security) into
@cloudflare.social for my personal site. I think I'll do this for the rest of my apps going forward.

I wonder if all this, "AI is REALLY going to replace software developers this time around." is just a fear-based marketing strategy so more people will use it and hence the AI companies will receive more funding.

I envy those who enjoy reading programming language reference manuals.

Today’s Task:

Keep struggling on forward with Neovim and lazy.vim plugins.
April 12, 2025 at 5:33 PM
lazy.nvim provides so much magic OOTB that I decided to go on the route of adding plugins from scratch...

This rabbit-hole I dug myself feels more like a grave.

However I still wish to use neovim over an IDE.

It's funny how random comments inspire me to learn certain things. Someone wrote, "I don't even have Ruby installed on my machine... I just use Docker."

I guess I'm learning Docker now 🙃
