Garage sales and flea markets are where I find mine. I found my X-MEN #4 and AVENGERS #4 in a box of 100 old and worn comics for $5. They're not in the greatest condition, but I have them. 😁
And that's why my dad didn't want me to play organized team sports. He didn't like how my uncles (his brothers) treated their kids during games. I did tennis and track until I got bored with them. My cousins stopped talking to their dads once we grew up. It wasn't pretty growing up.
My friends and I, seniors at university when this aired right after the premiere episode of ST:TNG, wrote a script for a series finale before the season finished. We loved the show, but knew it was hokey and might not last. Titled "Manifest Destiny", basically destroy the manifest, lift the curses.
I can't think of any song that could work as well as what they did with PINOCCHIO's "I've Got No Strings" in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" trailer. I was at a friend's house when we watched it and applauded.
