I know our country loves it but we also had high school kids beating the shit out of each other in boxing rings up through the 40s and then that was completely stopped.

As someone who put together a 700+ page coffee table book on the history of my high school alma mater's athletics programs dating back to 1897 and currently work as a sports editor for a small town paper covering high school sports and enjoys high school football...I still 💯 agree with you.
