When it doubt, assume the Cdn govt doesn't know what it's doing, not that the Cdn government is supremely cunning.

In action, I think she's good. Still think the party brass doesn't let her loose. Don't know if they're afraid of the the perception that comes with every female politician. Too bossy, shrill, yaddie, yaddie.

There's a limit to how much press you can single-handedly generate especially when everyone's attention is turned elsewhere.

That said,

the provincial NDP apparatus should've adapted to this reality by now. Why aren't they out there, stunting, making sure the public is aware of Ford's governance in absentia or holding press conferences, asking about the state of the various corruption investigations?

I mean, without doing a deep dive into it, off the top of my head, I'd say the only jackers who get multiple shots at jacking would be carjackers. And that sounds more like a reality show than a prestige drama.
