Agree. We don't understand the issue. The driving motivation is deep-seated insecurity about historic failures. Cannot stomach indigenous people decolonizing land that Arab empires colonized. I disagree. We SHOULD talk about the settler colonialism that has plagued the ME from 633. Post-colonial theory suggests that land should be returned to the oppressed indigenous natives of the ME: the Persians, the Yazidis, the Druze, and yes, the Jews.
