Personally, i don't compare anyone to Prince. Prince is Prince. And I generally agree with you but he does have the talent and just used it for the gimmick. That I understand, especially at the time.

I heard Usher's statement. I see what he was talking about but I disagree. He used Auto-Tune to create a sound that stands out instantly. He wasn't the first or the last so Usher shouldn't blame him, but no judgment on your opinion!
