Can’t believe we couldn’t meet this package. Maybe they didn’t want to trade him in division, or maybe GMPV didn’t want to do it without an extension, but I feel like we could have beat this package.

I’m not a big fan of analyzing momentum, but I feel like it affects this team a lot. In watching games this year, I’ve noticed they really do get into some high highs and low lows. I’d like to see more consistency to the games. Perils of youth I suppose.

Based on the numbers you showed, this is a.500 team that’s shooting its way into some early wins. It’s .3 difference in xGF and xGA. The fact that they are over performing xGF probably means the S% is high and going to regress eventually. Still, PP and great goaltending hides a lot of problems.

I LOVE Eze’s and Madueke’s willingness to shoot the ball. They’ve been willing to put things on frame, Eze off the volley. It just makes for an extra dimension the team has been lacking.

Anything on Strome? He’s not a big missing piece, but he is a piece who will have an impact on how Senecke’s future goes. Can’t imagine Strome is just dropped to the 4th line.

The job he wanted isn’t necessarily a good job. Gibby’s contract wasn’t the problem; it was PV asking too much until he had to take a bad contract in return. He sold Z when his value had bottomed out. Right now, he’s doing a middling job. wait until he’s completely failed, we become the Sabres

If they don’t make it, he should be gone, but I think the Samuelisdon’t have it in them. Hiring him was a minor spectacle, pulling in legends from the team to make the decision. We also saw how Murray had to force their hand. They’ll give him another contract unless the team implodes.
